This game probably more than any other I can remember makes it super easy to get really good pokemon. You don't have to do any grinding if you don't want to. Most you'd do is giving a pokemon a mint and boosters to change the nature if its a bad one.
Spent hours breeding for a good Haxorus and Noivern before I tapped out. Turns out Lake of Outrage for both is like Target for white girls, nothing but them, drakloaks, Golurks, and Galvantulas sitting there chilling all lvl 60. Got the Haxorus I wanted, didn't put as much time into Noivern but got a decent enough one. Jolteon was sitting there waiting for me to pull up and caught Aegislash on the way there. There's free stones for Eevee evolutions too.
Safe to say I have leftover Haxorus, Drakloak, and Noiverns if anybody wants any, don't even have to waste time catching them. Figured I'd offer before I surprise trade them away. It's crazy bc Drakloak evolves at 60 into Dragapult but these are already at 60, 1 level up and it's free Dragapults lol. You at least had to level Dragonair up a bit before getting Dragonite.

Picked up sword this morning. Played for an hour before work. Pretty cool.
Not gonna lie, I liked the grinding; felt more “deserved” when you finally got what you wanted. I remember grinding for a Milotic back in the day but now, I legit just caught one in the lake. Felt so...cheap.

Nice on the Milotic, that's my favorite. I got a lvl 1 Feebas I was going to build up but I won't bother, I'm sure I'll find it eventually.
There's always been ones you had to put time in the game to get no shortcuts allowed. If somebody had a Scizor/Steelix they had to get to reach a point and look for metal coat then deal with the trade hurdle. Oh so this guy has both, damn so he did a whole new game for just another coat or sat hunched over his DS for hours for that drop. I got a perfect Steelix in my party rn and ain't do shyt lol, don't even feel worthy when it pops out the ball.
What made it crazy was I was just thinking about a Eevee in my PC I was gonna use for Jolteon eventually
And RIGHT when I got done thinking this nikka texture popped in right in front of me and scared the shyt out of me
the grass came in after he did 
Bisharp and Lucario free just walking around in the rain, Ferrothorns sitting there watching sand move. I'm not mad since all games are dumbed down now but yeah they took the "trophies" part of the game out. Only thing close that's left are shinys.

Do you have a Ponyta by chance? Got some Deinos ready in exchange unless you want another Sword exclusive. I haven’t unlocked the IV checker yet tho so can’t guarantee the stats are good but I should be able to get a specific nature, If you want anything in particular.
