The Metacritic is sitting at an 81. This game got nailed.
I think people gotta see for themselves instead of goin off reviews.
People loved the ruby and sapphire remakes but ign did this
Hyped on all the good reviews, I knew this was gonna be some PokePiff
I shouldve known but this release has taught me that a large portion of the pokemon fanbase is HELLA lame, even for gamer standards

shyt seems like the past 2 gens, no content, a bunch of cutscenes and bad graphics, hallways instead of dungeons.
Ill load up the new mons on showdown and KIM

You aint gonna get a consistent answer. Just watch some gameplay videos on youtube. If you like what you see then get it. If you aint feelin it, dont

It's disappointing that not all are available but 400+ is still huge + not having to deal with random encounters is already a massive plus for me

Ruby Sapphire and Emerald would’ve been the WOAT Pokémon games
This why everybody gotta see the games for themselves, theres no consensus on whats the best. For you black/white & ruby/sapphire the worst. For me its Diamond/pearl & x/y
sword/shield will be some peoples favorites, and some peoples least favorites
It is to me. Been a while since I played a real Pokémon game and this is on the Switch so I don't see how it's not. I expect the sequel to this generation to be far better since it will be built off this one.
