Haven't finished a pokemon game since B/W and didn't really fw them, but I enjoyed the gen 5 competitive seen a lot and played a good bit of gen 6 competitively

this is on par with previous games. They usually don't do the national dex till later

It's not just that. Gen 7 didn't have a national dex. They are straight up not allowing Pokemon NOT in the regional dex to be transferred. In gen 7 even though their was no national dex all the pokemon were still in it. They just didn't have a pokedex number.


This is ridiculous honestly. People who have been collecting pokemon since gen 3 wont be able to transfer them to gen 8.
