White people, politicians, businessmen, walk around with diamond bracelets and $30,000 rolexes, bentleys all over major cities, athletes in lambos, but pnb should've "moved smarter" because "la is hot right now"

Listen to yourselves. Idk why but this shyt got me heated.
They don't brag about being tough and how nobody will touch/rob them either.

It did help. National drop in homicide rate occurred when Crime Bill measures were enacted. Many of the killers and violent criminals were locked up.

It's revisionism to say that it didn't help, when the streets across the country were killing fields before then.
It’s not revisionism aside from your romanticism of mass incarceration …the authors of the damn bill admit that it was shyt

Of course if you locked every American up right now there would be 0 crime in the country …I’m assuming that you’re one of those authoritarian types that would appreciate that kind of iron clad rule however :mjlol:

The reduction of homicides were directly tied to the sentencing guidelines and resources to police depts.
Crime trended down nationally after that also.

Smilies and jokes are not it in matters relating to Black people being killed or being the victims of crime.

Shut the fukk up you weird ass nikka …. Bill Clinton himself has admitted that the shyt was trash and directly tied to tearing black families apart through mass incarceration and over sentencing

c00ning and Caping for something the authors no longer support is not it in matters relating to black people being railroaded and victimized by authoritarian law

The fukk kind of fantasy land analogy is this? They gonna get both the brother AND the CAC at the same damn time because it's a double lick.
If you think hood nikkas have the same smoke for random white ppl that they for other random nikkas, I don't know what to tell you

End of the day committing crime against a white person is far more likely to get serious jail/prison time

The Bill was discussed publicly for months. Broadcast on every outlet when it passed and became law.
EVERYBODY knew that the hammer was about to come down.

What was supposed to be a deterrent, ended up being punishment for those who chose to continue criminal activities.

The hardcore criminal element aren't victims. They are people who made a series of bad decisions, and when they get caught for breaking the law, should serve their time.

With crime and violent crime trending back up, the hammer is eventually going to have to come down again. It will be tempered from before, but it will come down.

High profile broad daylight murders, like the deceased we're in thread discussing is, unfortunately, just the latest in a series of brazen acts of public violence that's occurring in different cities.

The OGs who survived the 80s and 90s will tell you they had to change up after the laws were passed. Before that it was like the Wild West because the consequences were not as severe.

You’re literally rambling off 1993 conservative talking points because you cannot in any type of good faith address the fact that the signer of the bill says it was shyt … try again clown ass weirdo

If you were around during this time, you would know black leaders in majority black cities were the ones calling for the federal government to step in and do something to protect civilians.

The overwhelming majority of people who got caught up in these laws were not innocent victims. They were criminals. Alot of them were repeat offenders who preyed on the black community and refused to change.

What the hell are you supposed to do as a municipal leader? Protect the small percentage of criminals destroying the community or protect the overwhelming majority of law abiding, hardworking black residents?

Criminality should never be synonymous with being black.

Rappers are so revered nobody wants to say anything bad about them but a lot of rappers are IDIOTS

The more I learn about this PNB case the dumber it sounds

Being a rapper is a catch 22 because the reckless, stupid shyt that gets nikkas famous is the same reckless, stupid shyt that gets them killed. This goes all the way back to Pac.

A rapper talkin his shyt on record like "I was in Roscoe's with 100k in jewelry on, eating waffles and wings with my white S550 outside" gets nikkas hype when it sounds good, but when you look at it objectively that shyt is comically stupid. Nikka you was doing what?:pachaha:

Nikka I laugh in disbelief every time I think of that Benny situation:mjlol: A nikka walking around one of the most hood Walmarts in Houston wearing expensive jewelry because WHY? Nikka what the fukk are you doing?

Rap is a trap because stupidity is your bread and butter, and you're making the LEAST money off your stupidity
Image, breh.

Meanwhile a dude like Adam Sandler got 100x more money than rappers and dresses like a bum and plays pick up games at outdoor courts.

Since this thread revolves around los Angeles. I can say it was 50/50 among black people locally.Maxine Waters voted against the crime bill.
