:francis:some hard lessons gonna be learned
Doubt it.

I think Covid showed him how many of his own he could fukk over. They won't care unless they're personally and directly suffer from his decisions.

They'll suffer but they won't learn and it is going to get worse as his people are actively putting in place that will ensure the next generation is completely ignorant.

America is done.

So listen y’all, TRAVEL IS GOING TO GET EXPENSIVE.

It’s going to cost a lot to move around this country and get to other nations.

They are purposely fukking the system up, and a lot of people won’t be able to make moves.

Get your money right. If you want/need to leave, you want to be one of the folks who can afford it.

Flying out of CN or MX sounds like the safest bet at this point.

This stat is what makes what these CACs are doing even worse:

In 2024, federal employee compensation made up about 4.3% of the federal budget.

:camby:

They are only cutting these jobs to privatize the same jobs to enrich themselves.
I had to look this up because k thought the figure was much higher.

As of fiscal year 2024, the U.S. federal government allocated approximately $384 billion to pay and benefits for its civilian employees, constituting about 5.7% of the total federal spending of $6.75 trillion.Â

When including military personnel, the combined expenditure on pay and benefits rises to $584 billion, representing roughly 8.6% of the total federal budget.Â

These figures encompass salaries and benefits for a workforce of about 2.3 million civilian employees and 1.4 million active-duty military personnel.

Cruelty for the sake of cruelty. I can’t think of one popular Republican policy that isn’t punitive to another group in this country.
