The ps2 launched 5 Years after ps1. The PS3 launched 6 years after ps2.


It was only last Gen that was an outlier. Technology is moving far quicker now.

I predicted 2019 for ps5

Nowhere. The PS PRO is a niche device for only the most hardcore sony fans.

The Scorpio being better already makes it look even worse then it is and will facilitate sony moving on.

Not really. They're trying to at least keep up in some way to PC. The PC customer base is expanding and the console market is shrinking. Tech is much faster paced now and Devs wanted more power. These mid gen consoles are just a band aid and admittance that the normal systems were too weak.

People aren't going to wait around 8 years again for another console.

Sony isn't going to sit on its hands for years and years.

Thong did not offer any other details about the PS5, and while his predictions were accurate in the past, this is just speculation at this time.
