No bullshyt, since I’ve been a professional adult; any time I’ve ever been in a room for any kind of diversity initiatives, whether during my days working as a newspaper journalist or breaking into Hollywood, it’s ALWAYS been me being the only black dude in a room full of mostly white women. This stuff, barring the Reagan crash, happens, not often (compared to how often it could happen), but it happens, especially with military aircraft.

It has nothing to do with President Trump or any other president or his administration.

It's a highly regulated industry and many safeguards are in place but you're still dealing with extremely complicated machines and human operators who are prone to testing limits and making mistakes. All the loose commentary, as usual, comes from people who couldn't even reset a fukking breaker, much less operate a 10mil piece of equipment.

Anyone dealing with any sort of complexity marvels at how safe the airline and rail industries are (actually, we don't, it comes from very deliberate effort).
