Movie was straight but I can't get past the racial messages, sorry. I do like the realistic looking Black people of all shapes and size. Music was cool. But I was expecting a Black movie and not a mixed race movie. I'm sure they did it that way to attract White audiences (I get it). But it's been proven Whites will watch Black movies (see Black Panther). But hey it is what it is. Just not for me.

Somehow this snuck up on me, but I watched it first thing this morning. Such a great movie. That sports joke about being in the zone was perfect. Both the leads played their roles to perfection, and the message about passion and purpose was told very well. Musically it was

Easily the best film of the year. This one really hits home and tackles a lot of different big philosophical ideas.

The music, the animation, and the representation of blackness and even jokes were so on point. That line where he said catching a cab would ahve been hard even without the gown....


I’m actually kind of low key bothered more people are talking about Wonder Woman than this.

This wasn't no motherfukkin' kids movie. This was a movie for parents who are disappointed with their lives

I felt like this was the kind of movie the actual artists at Pixar wanted to make for themselves rather than something for the larger movie-going public

I wasn't expecting it, but this movie had re-evaluating my priorities and sniffing onions at the end
