My son absolutely loves this movie. He watches it almost everyday and has really took to the jazz scenes.

I actually got him listening to some classic jazz like Coltrane. Well be out in public and hell hear music and say things like I wonder if Joe Garner would like this.

My boy told me about this and threw it on yesterday. Excellent movie, Pixar outdid themselves for sure. I was immediately captured by the animation, but the story was just as captivating.

Went in expecting a children's movie, and I got a film that speaks almost directly to adults.

Spoke to my cousin about this film, and he told me that while he liked the movie, he felt that it suffered from a weak antagonist. I thought that was a pretty good observation, and perhaps that's why the ending felt a bit underwhelming or rushed.

Yeah, saw this last night. Was really good and wow a really bold move by Pixar/Disney. This is too deep for kids and it actually was unconventional in the end.
So close to the end when Joe tells someone his purpose in life is to play Jazz and someone is like. "No, it's not that." it seems after the show he was trying to get back to he kinda realizes that. And that sends him after 22. But they never actually named what his purpose was did they?
