This movie was solid, it's a follow up to Inside Out kinda which I also liked.
I'm disappointed by the race talk on social media though, people find a way to try to ruin everything.
@Ziggiy is shytting up this thread with the race talk.
It's a film with black people in it. It could have easily been a white man instead and the message would be the same.
Y'all looking to find racial controversy in damn near everything - just take it for what it is or keep it moving.
Not trying to come at you, brethren, but does your opinion of the movie change at all if 22 was voiced by a Black actress?black boys deserve better than this movie. We aren’t magical negroes for spoiled white women and the aspirations that WE choose for OURSELVES do indeed have meaning.

If your soul is voiced by a white woman then you a white woman
Try hardddddddddd
It would change in the fact that the “magical negro” aspect is erased but I would still have a BIG issue with the “message” of “purpose” ultimately being a useless pursuit. Fuuuuuuckkkkk that
Either you do not KNOW the meaning of "magical Negro" or you have a case of insecurity in which any black lead you would seek and make up a problem to complain.
You are definitely one of those "lost souls" that was shown in the movie.
