Obviously would not have been the same w/o Pip, whether they could have worked around it or not, who knows. But once MJ signed off on producing it I don't think they were gonna stop production for anything. They were trying for years to get MJ to agree.

Pip should have played hard ball... maybe he did or tried, I don't know what the internal convos were. Maybe he didn't know anyone was getting paid then realized after that MJ did. Just not sure.

That's true he was working for ESPN at the time so maybe that played a factor.

Pip should have said something (if he didn't).. MJ should also know how Pip is and has to know he was gonna feel some type of way once he finds out he got nothing. He spent more time around this man than his own family. Again he has no OBLIGATION to do so but it's something he easily had the power to do.
