I dunno if it’s me, but it seems like there was more comraderie in the 80s/90s in comparison to now in terms of the music industry. I love the positive vibes I see in the pictures as well.

Thats what makes that time frame so special the unity among folks in all areas (film, music, sports) honestly during that time the soul train awards was the only thing uniting the old and young stars in entertainment and it was love and no one looks down or ashame like now (ie BET awards)

Yeah they were. Man, I remember me and my family had set meals and shyt for when The Soul Train Awards came on. Everybody would be huddled around the FLOOR tv. No flat screen. FLOOR tv!

We ain't have shyt but we had each other and we was happy. :wow:
