Seraphin is complete garbage. A waste of a roster spot...he does nothing well except score...sometimes. More times than not, he's missing defensive assignments, setting illegal screens (that get called), getting killed on the glass, and turning the ball over.

Bad signing.
1 year deal to be a third string center is a "bad signing"

Old Brooklyn, word to @DPresidential
I keep hearing O'Quinn is better at Center than he is at PF. He was one of the worst in the league and defending PFs last year. If that's the case it's better if he's the first big off the bench to replace Lopez.
Agreed. The only reason I have him starting is because of a lack of other options, the Seraphin signing giving them some flexibility, and assuming they want to bring Styles P along gradually. Who knows. Maybe Williams comes in and plays well and shows he can knock down the 3 consistently, or maybe Styles P shows he's ready and is the starter day one (although our bench scoring would be :scust: if that happens).

If it does end up being KOQ,... :manny:. At least we know he's working oh his corner 3.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?

If that's the case it's better if he's the first big off the bench to replace Lopez. Melo should really think about playing PF because he really opens up the offense and he has help defensively with Lopez. I don't know who would play SF with melo at the PF though.

We can go small with Calderon/Grant/Afflalo/Melo/Lopez but I don't know how that would affect the bench. Most likely melo would object to playing PF because he doesn't want to get hurt and bang down low.

I see a lot of scenarios until we get into training camp and preseason and see for ourselves who fits.

First Team
Calderon
Afflalo
Melo
O'Quinn
Lopez

Second Team
Grant
Galloway
Williams
Amundson
Seraphin

Nah chill. He'll get his minutes.

I wouldn't be surprised Phil is in the office with Poured Kristal saying, "For each 5 lbs of muscle you gain... that is an additional 5 mins of quality game time you'll get.

It's on you."

It all depends how the season goes. I don't see him starting or being the first big off the bench. He's still too weak to contribute defensively. If it's like last year then I see them playing him over guys with one year deals and planning ahead.

:shaq2: read those names you're putting ahead of porzingis 3x. what are you expecting from this team? you expect the team to suck AND not give the kid prime minutes? 4th pick = playing time...especially on a weak team. come on now.

Too weak to contribute defensively? He's 7'3? He alters shots, literally by just standing with his hands up.

He's gonna play. Minutes will probably fluctuate, and he'll definitely hit a wall at some point... strictly based off his age/size/training.

But he's gotta play, come the fukk on.

Good on them. Pay that man. See if you can use him.
