To think this team went from having JR and Iman with their ignorance to a weirdo like him is hilarious. Porzingis, Grant, Black Boy Fly, lot of team oriented guys that are humble, hungry and just about the team. Looking forward to how it shapes out. May not have all the talent some of our teams have had but effort and smarts and skill may well be the change needed for over a decade of talented, brainless dudes.

GS is an anomaly, Curry is a draw player just like Melo except he's a PG so his assist are up from the pick roll concept. The last PGs to lead their team to a ship is Magic and Isiah

Plus he has a secondary scorer on his team

We never had money to accommodate Melo's game though. The older guys was as much about Woodson as the knicks needing depth at any cost. Also Woodson was the dumbass who won 54 games in the season. then got to the playoffs and said "no more small ball" loss to the Pacers and then said "well we need a big man" and Grunwald got him fukking Bargnani. Not to mention all the rumors about CAA running the knicks and how guys like JR and Barg we're brought here to accommodate them.

Phil seems smart enough to have set up this season to bleed into next Offseason so they could build a team.
