Even if we can't move him in a trade (probably not), I'd still stretch him to get that roughly 4 mil of cap space back. May not be enough to get KJ, but could take a run at Cory Joseph.

I would think the Knicks would still need a productive PG however...You can't ride out 1 more season with Calderon?

ive had time to digest O'Quinn not being white... then i hear he grew up playing baseball - catcher nonetheless - and idolized Mike Piazza.

i looked it up, there have been... Charles Johnson and no one else as far as black major league catchers go. How is this guy not white?

Cory Joseph jumpshot is inconsistent. He's good energy and defense but Knicks need shooting/scoring.

I don't know all the numbers but Kncks should throw whatever they have at Gerald Green. Hornacek was holding Green back, I'm telling ya'll sun can play.

If not him Anderson.

and the Smith and Amundson reup :salute:

:ohhh::pachaha:I think Russell Martin's half black. But aside from him, I can't name anyone else that's currently in the pros.

Calderon has 2 years left on his deal.

Joseph showed he could be productive given minutes. He put of solid numbers when Parker and Mills were out. I know he's not a consistent outside shooter, but his shooting percentages have gone up every year. I see no reason why that should stop now. Calderon may have that on him, but even then his percentages went gone down last year, and we dont even have to go into defense. For whatever Calderon gives you on offense, he's gonna give up at least that much.

I'm not saying he has to start, but I'm fine with him and Grant battling it out for the starting job.

Calderon's not a consistent scorer tho. He'll have a few games where he'll give you big numbers, but not enough to warrant everything else. We have no more cap, so if we wanted to sign Green we'd have to move Calderon anyway.

We could probably get Anderson for the vet min

Knicks should be looking into Patty Mills
As long as the cap number comes in higher, as expected, on the 9th they don't have to move him.
