We ain't trying to go to the playoffs to compete. We're trying to go to the playoffs to attract free agents
What TOP free agents do you think are realistically coming to the NYK in 2016?

yea but Wolves and Kings ain't much better than what we got right now...our roster is prob worse than those teams and he still can't do shyt on any horrible teamI Don't Expect Much Outta Him But Cut The Guy Some Slack, He's Been On The Wolves And Kings lol I'm Hoping We Can Get 10 Points Out Of Him lol
I look at him like offensively he could be a wilson chandler type of scorer if he gets that 3 pt shot down.
Defensively I expect a lot of struggle in the future

It's Not a Just About Losing, They Were Bad Environments, Hopefully This One Will Be More Positive
Splitter ain't no Zaza breh. He's a legit decent NBA starting center. Hell, he's legit as good as Robin Lopez who you just paid 14 mil for. We ain't got no money. It's gonna have to be through trades or sign someone like Wes Johnson and hope we can turn shyt into sugar.
No they don't. They need to play both when their ready. Don't get me wrong, if Porzingis and Grant busting ass in practice, pre-season and summer league, start them but they need to be brought on slowly. The triangle ain't one of those offenses where you can just throw a rookie in with no quarrels.Knicks need to start Grant and Porzingis, that's really their best bet for next season.
Calderon is basura, and Williams is a rotational bench player, that in mind PG is probably the biggest hole on the roster outside of depth. The starting 5 should be good enough to make the playoffs, but beyond that they need to come up on some mid-season buy out guys like the Rockets did with Smith.
This year will be more telling of Fisher's coaching ability than last year.
Hard to ask a rookie coach to win games without professional level talent
That's all we expect. We aren't starting Splitter. He's a legit big we been lacking off the bench who can produce at the five.he's been a reserve in a pretty well stack front court where avgs 19 minutes a game playing alongside with Duncan, Diaw, Bonner, and Blair. I don't expect that to change to much since you guys play small ball well. Hell probably still avg about 20 minutes for you guys.

Now, it all about signing bench players. The one thing the Knicks got is guys like Galloway, Antetompo, Smith and Grant off the bench. Add Porzingis and you got a nice little core. It's all about Melo now. If he's elite offensive Melo, you guys can be legit. The one thing I like about this FA for you guys is you got a team.
Lopez can rebound and defend.
Williams is good at cutting and moving around on offense. He can score in spurts. Not a true starter but he's holding time till Kristaps is ready.
Affalo fits any system and can play with Melo and doesn't need high usage.
Melo is Melo.
Calderon isn't a triangle PG but he can set things up and hold the fort till Grant is ready to start.
I like that Phil is getting a team. Now you do need a 2nd star but you needed a team more than that.
