What TOP free agents do you think are realistically coming to the NYK in 2016?
yea but Wolves and Kings ain't much better than what we got right now...our roster is prob worse than those teams and he still can't do shyt on any horrible team
I look at him like offensively he could be a wilson chandler type of scorer if he gets that 3 pt shot down.
Defensively I expect a lot of struggle in the future

Knicks need to start Grant and Porzingis, that's really their best bet for next season.
Calderon is basura, and Williams is a rotational bench player, that in mind PG is probably the biggest hole on the roster outside of depth. The starting 5 should be good enough to make the playoffs, but beyond that they need to come up on some mid-season buy out guys like the Rockets did with Smith.

I'm satisfied with the free agency, would I loved having LMA or Gasol? Ofcourse I would, but we had a long shot at getting these guys
the only thing I'm disappointed about is these two didn't even take a meeting with Phil which I find very disrespectful to him, our organization and our city, I know our team and our owner sucks but Phil is one of the greatest basketball "guys" ever, he deserved atleast a sit-down.
If any team has an offseason where they add Lopez, Afflalo, Grant, and Kristip, they would be given an A+ rating. But since this is NY, people hate on us.
Obviously we won't be competing for no championship next yr or the next with this roster, but we damn sure will be competing for a 6-8 playoff spot.
I know I'm gonna get hate for this, but I honestly feel we should of taken a chance at Rondo for that same 10mil deal, I know he would be terrible in the triangle, but they should of said fukk it to the Triangle and grabbed him and Jordan. rondo, afflalo, melo, kristip and Jordan sounds like a top 4 team in the East to be honest.

He's not that good, the environment has little to do with his weaknesses, defensively he's just
at his absolute best. Dude is like a more polished non dust head Michael Beasley.

he's been a reserve in a pretty well stack front court where avgs 19 minutes a game playing alongside with Duncan, Diaw, Bonner, and Blair. I don't expect that to change to much since you guys play small ball well. Hell probably still avg about 20 minutes for you guys.
No they don't. They need to play both when their ready. Don't get me wrong, if Porzingis and Grant busting ass in practice, pre-season and summer league, start them but they need to be brought on slowly. The triangle ain't one of those offenses where you can just throw a rookie in with no quarrels.

Williams isn't a bad signing, you just have to bring him off the bench, he shouldn't be starting for any team that wants to make the playoffs. I'd take my chances with the rookie (especially defensively), and tell Williams to score off the bench.

Both are better than the alternatives, which is a dude that cannot play defense, and a guy that is best suited for coming off the bench. They have enough veterans in their starting 5 to get away with playing their two rookies.
Exactly, the Knicks got an actual NBA roster again, hope the team gels and start a foundation for the 2nd star needed
