Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I know, which is why I don't expect a big return since he can essentially pick where he gets traded to, but something is better than nothing, and it's pointless to keep Melo on a roster that can't make the playoffs.

They can get a nice return from the Rockets, who would need to give up guys to get the salaries to match.

Jones, Donatas, Beverly, Dekker (Or KJ McDaniels) plus some picks for him would be a good start.

Old Brooklyn, word to @DPresidential
Building through free agency is never wise, your base/foundation needs to come from smart draft picks & trades of assets.

All the FA signings are going to teams that already have a couple of good players there.
I'm not talking about players not wanting to sign here. That's their choice. I'm talking about the fact that West shyt on us when he didn't have to and Aldridge wouldn't even take the meeting. At least be professional. Even if you didn't want to sign, at least take the meeting and listen to what they had to say. He's about to give the Lakers two meetings and we cant even get one? :aicmon:

I like Terrence Jones and Motiejunas, I'd do that deal in a heartbeat. I just wanna know what Phil is thinking right now:francis:

Wes and Arron play the same position, not to mention he's coming off a torn Achilles.
Going small with melo at the 4 worked in the past. Its not ideal, but it adds some desperately needed talent to the roster. Grabbing both hedges some injury risk at the position as well.

Jesus, Aldridge won't even meet with the team:deadmanny:.If Robin Lopez really is the best the FO can do, then trade Melo and go the full rebuild route. He'll be demanding a trade by the trade deadline anyway since the team won't even sniff the playoffs.

That was Phil's whole plan brehs:to:

The Rockets probably do that deal as well, Donatas would probably be the sticking point, he fits in the triangle but the Rockets looked really good with him.

Porzingis is your 4 moving forward, playing Melo at the 4 is a stop gap and you're not contending for anything with him playing the 4.

So lemme get this straight...everyone in the league knows the LMA wants to play PF. The Knicks have been active in meeting R-Lo, Greg Monroe and Deandre Jordan (all C's). But their plan was to ask LMA to play a position he's vehemently against and they decided to tell him before he even got to the meeting?

Either the Knicks are complete fools or someone's source is kicking :duck:
