That's not a bad team at all and the knicks would have money to add another piece to that as well and would likely be able to keep shump.

Lance as a 3rd or 4th best player on a team would be a real good look. Also the Hornets might do it, the only issue is I would see them asking for Hardaway as well since they need outside shooters.

I'd Drive Hardaway to Charlotte

:whoa: on Tyson "beasting". Yeah I wanted to see that cocksucker fail miserably when he returned to Dallas but all he's doing is getting back to that 10 and 10 shyt with a measly block per game thrown in. It just looks better now because he has better teammates and a good coach. Sorry Fish. You got an 82 game long rope with me, but I don't know if you were ready for the big chair just yet.

Lance in NY? :patrice: Basketball wise it works. And for my $$ Charlotte can have Shump, JR, THjr or any combo of the 2 they want. But can we hire this cat a 24 hour baby sitter if we make this deal? I think all of Coney Island would be more than happy to help him completely fukk up this opportunity.

Chandler is 10th overall in PER. He's having a great year so far. Does it say more about Chandler or the Knicks that's he's playing hard again?

Its also a contract year. He keeps playing like this and Cuban will likely reup his 15 mil per year contract. Especially because with the cap going up. Then once signed he'll pick and choose seasons to compete in like he did in NY and the rest of his career.

Keep the tank hand strong :blessed:

Winning games and fighting for the 8th seed does nothing for us in the scheme of things. Its not like we have a bunch of young players who can grow and build from playoff experience most of the current players won't even be here next year.

Agreed. Once Amare is off the books then hopefully we go to work.

You have to love a group of fans that are WATCHING Tyson Chandler play well, and just simply refuse to believe it.

Regardless, I'm glad he's gone, because in a close game... It is better long-term for us NOT to be able to get stops.

As far as the "knicks lack effort" talk goes...they don't lack effort. They lack talent, and therefore are at a disadvantage entering most games. I don't know that the knicks have what the Hornets would want for Lance. Plus the salaries are a pain in the ass.

Would they want JR Smith? (I can't imagine they would)

You might be able to get them to take him/Jason Smith/THjr? But you are adding salary with that deal.

Next year with Lance, the Knicks salary would stand at about 46/47 Million with the options picked up. If you add the necessary salary for roster-fills (because this is only with like 7 guys on the roster) you push it near 50, which leaves you with about 13 million in the current cap to work with. If you sign Gasol, that's gone. Which means the idea of "having room for another piece" is not necessarily realistic.

Of course, the salary cap COULD go up, but it's unlikely that it would go up drastically NEXT season. Let's say it gets to 65 million. Gasol's deal (again, no real reason to believe he definitely signs with us) eats most of that room.

Another reason this draft pick needs to be a high one.

I think the reason a high pick is so important is because of the unknown in free agency.Gasol supposenly loves Memphis. The Rondo situation who knows what's gonna happen then the rest are second tier guys.

Plus nobody out there in free agency will alone make us a title team another reason we badly need another high pick whether it's to get a young stud or use it as an asset which we don't have any of.

I wouldn't give a damn if he was 1st in overall PER. 10, 10, & 1 are not beast numbers. Which is my point but thanks for the advanced stats I guess. :manny:
IMO, it says more about Chandler that he's playing hard again. It means he quit and is unprofessional if things don't go his way. Winners never quit. Ever. There is no circumstance where someone with a winners mentality would ever phone in effort.

Derek Fisher's rotations are so bad.
Idk why Acey is playing
THJr goes in to shoot the buzzer beater when he's been cold on the bench all game

I don't want to hate on Fish but he needs to realize what he's doing

Neither Fisher, nor Acy is causing Swish to be sick. Neither Fisher, nor Acy is making Shump and Tim unable to make shots. Fisher's consistency of playing Acy is helping the solid defense that has kept NY in most of their games. In other words, without Acy, NY wouldn't even have a chance in most games. If Swish, Shump, and Tim make shots, NY wins most games. If the refs call NY games fairly, they win most games.

Yup. Don't understand why he gets a pass for playing like trash for 2 of the 3 years he was in NY, getting the flu every season, throwing teammates under the bus, while he himself was playing like trash (sounds like another NBA player— I'm looking at you Lebron), and implying that he wanted to leave in his exit interview last season. :scust:
