You got Shane Larkin. You're not getting much for an expiring and they got rid of fukking Raymond Felton.

Larkin is useless. I'm just saying in hindsight...does Chandler playing like an all star this year make him look worse or make the Knicks look worse? We knew Tyson's pedigree prior to joining the team and we saw his effort slowly dwindle away...but there are guys on the roster that quit as well *coughJRcough* and are still getting minutes here. You just get the feel that the idiot owner is still meddling...that's all.

Getting a couple of prospects who can grow into decent rotational players, a young pg who has shown flashes of being a decent rotational player, and shedding an extremely toxic personality in Felton, for an expiring, is a decent trade for us. Like i said when the trade was made, it was a good trade for both teams; for a player who is an expiring contract, injury prone, and coming off a down year, you couldn't expect much more.

Acy's deadweight...I guess Early might become something someday. The Knicks already declined Larkin's option for next season so he's probably gone.

Felton had to go, but JR is still here....just doesn't seem right with Chandler beasting on a good team, that's all. What you do with those types of guys is make up an injury and stick them on the end of the bench in street clothes. It's what Dallas is doing with Felton now anyways.

yeah it sucks to see him beasting somewhere else but Chandler's stock was low at the time, so I couldn't see us getting more than a high first from a team. What we did get is a few prospects with one of those players essentially being a high first type of talent. Essentially we traded for potential;and of course if that potential doesn't come to fruition we can say the trade was a failure, but we gotta give time for Cleanthony and Thanasis to develop first. But regardless of how they develop, we probably weren't gonna get much more for Tyson anywhere else, and even though I'm sure Phil tried, I don't think anybody would've taken on Jr's contract too, considering he's a bigger headcase than Felton, with a longer contract and makes more.

I will say I don't like Calderon's extra salary though, and not picking up Shane's option is weird, but until I see what the team does with him I can't judge the move.

Alll Chandler playing well now shows, is that he got in his feelings about everybody calling him out on getting abused by Hibbert in 2013, and quit.

As far his value, nobody is giving up a pick of real value for a 32 yr old center coming off the shytty season he had. The only team dumb enough to do that....would be the Knicks :sadcam:

J.R. has zero trade value at this point, besides that his minutes are the lowest they've been since his early Denver years. My guess is he's gone at the end of this year anyway

agreed except for that last point, unless we trade J.R. he staying. He's gonna pick up his option and try for a new contract the year after when that new television deal hits, and the salary cap gets a major bump.

It was easy for Wade to play well. Shump was in foul trouble, Wade was guarded by Tim a lot, especially when he hit those late shots.

Hornets looking to trade Stephenson :mjpls:

Calderon
Stephenson
Melo
Okafor/Towns
Gasol

:ohlawd: :sadcam:

That's not a bad team at all and the knicks would have money to add another piece to that as well and would likely be able to keep shump.

Lance as a 3rd or 4th best player on a team would be a real good look. Also the Hornets might do it, the only issue is I would see them asking for Hardaway as well since they need outside shooters.
