@I.V. Look at Papanikolaou looking like a player that would fit lovely in the triangle. :wow:

I hate The Knicks. :mjcry:

Yeah, could definitely be a useful player.

What? Was he originally drafted by the Knicks?

Had to get Ray Felton back, b. Needed him. He was TOO integral.

No talent :troll:

Some talent.

Just not enough talent.

Literally whats the worse thing that could happen.....

Melo getting injured in this throwaway season brehs:sadcam:

Hope he's ok.

But if he needs to rest... take all the time you need, Melo.

Knicks w/o best player vs Rockes w/o best player. Both teams must have no talent brehs :yeshrug:

Yes because clearly bad teams never play close games against good teams the team must be really good to keep a game close

It's not like the Rockets lost to the Lakers or anything..oh wait

The idiot brigade is in full effect right now. "You kill a team's morale" - yeah man, the Spurs haven't recovered from that tank job. LeBron is out here reviving the dumpster that is Cleveland twice, once through the draft, and once via free agency.

This whole idea of "loser mentality" is some childish shyt. There is ONE thing that consistently wins in sports. And it ain't "pride."

It's talent, you simple fukk. Talent wins. The Knicks don't have enough of it. They're best option to acquire talent is to have the highest pick possible. Having a high pick and a top talent coming in that way will make them more enticing to free agents, who may be deciding between multiple teams with cap space.

Grow up. Watch some games. And come to grip with the reality of this season. It will make the losses less frustrating. :knickphil: is already tanking.

key for the spurs: D Rob got hurt for the year. melo is still healthy. big difference. if D Rob stays healthy that whole year do you think the spurs "tank" and get tim duncan. no, they don't.

and yes the celts got KG through the ol' boy network when mchale did a favor for his man ainge. it was not simply tanking.

so your only two examples of "successful tanking" are null and void.

:camby:

edit: to the non-tankers... i loved the way the team played without melo, especially on defense. shane was all over the place and sam is really holding down the paint. even amare was playing a little defense last night :russ:

but fisher gotta get this rotation down. playing random dudes at random times, not giving enough minutes to the players playing well... he needs to get it together b :scust:

Jason Smith killed the Knicks, then Fish brings in Amare and Harden started eating off P&R

Knicks have the Worst Bigs in the league

Some of us like Smith cause his midrange jumper is almost automatic, but I don't like his game at all. He looks like he tries hard on defense but is usually not very good at it. His passing leaves a bit to be desired. Plus he is horrible in post up situations (tho he seems to have gotten better).

But he was hurt. And because he was hurt, the season was lost. So they shut it down, in order to get a top pick.

You seem to think the injury is the parallel in this parable, but it isn't... it's the lost season. They tanked for Timmy, got him, prospered for two decades.

and yes the celts got KG through the ol' boy network when mchale did a favor for his man ainge. it was not simply tanking.

Keep your weird conspiracy bullshyt to yourself. They got him because they had draft picks and high-ceiling young players to trade. They had THOSE because .... of.... tanking.

Danny made the aggressive play once he had the assets.

You are a complete idiot.

Facts are my only currency, bruh. Bring them, or don't bother replying. You got me wasting keystrokes to correct you.

bottom line, the ONLY reason the spurs "tanked" was because D Rob got hurt. if D Rob doesn't get hurt, the spurs don't tank. that's the FACT. you thinking the knicks' season is lost after 15 games is irrelevant. that's your opinion. the FACT is, the team is relatively healthy and expected to win. this is the expectation from the top down, only on this board is tanking a viable option.

the other FACT is that without mchale doing a favor for his boy ainge the celts don't get KG.

all of these are FACTS.

but i agree you should stop responding to me. you're ignorant and rude and this isn't really going anywhere.
