Not Swish because Swish plays solid defense (not perfect, but solid, which is why he's playing), has always rebounded, and has always been a willing passer. Did Amar'e develop into a solid defender and willing passer? No. Tim is who he is. It's funny you would call us low I.Q. posters when you want a lesser scorer who doesn't rebound, defend, or pass to play over a better scorer who does all of the above. Tim's not rotting on the bench. You have him confused with Early who doesn't play at all. I'm not a Swish supporter. I'm a bball supporter and I will go with on-court production even when it's unpopular to do so. If Tim were half the player Swish is, he'd be worshipped, until the media decides to turn on him like they did Shump. Now, Shump's the new cancer, just because he's not what he never was (a scorer). It will happen to Tim, like it happened to 'Melo and every Knick because it's the Knicks.

Solid defense????? You mean inconsistent defense. How many times does JR let dudes walk by him and tries to steal the ball from behind like its the playground? How many times does he lose his man who cuts for an easy layup?

Tim can learn to be a serviceable defender. These NBA guys have all types of crazy offensive moves, unless you get burned by them a few times, you arent gonna know how to stop it, period. He can learn to do what JR doesnt, be aware defensively. See your man, see the ball. He is athletic enough to be able to guard his position if he gets experience. Also in regards to Amare, he is just an idiot.
