No, this is the worst year in Philly history.

On pace for 545 murders with a population of 1.6M.

Philadelphia was a bit more populous and less murderous in the 80’s than today. Early 80‘s were actually kinda tame/safe for Philly standards.

Looking at this list it looks Philly technically didn’t feel no effects of the crack epidemic. Looked like the crack epedemic was just another day in Philly unlike places where crack created crazy highs in murders

Thats why im saying the whole crime wave thing is manufactured. Crime is up dont get me wrong but its not like the 70s , 80s or 90s crime rates. The media has been pushing this crime wave thing too. They just are scare people into wanting to be overpoliced which is what the government wants. More oversight over peoples lives.

It’s not manufactured it’s real as fukk.

Philly was better in the 80’s than the 70’s.

A couple years around 265ish murders pretty damn good for Philly standards.

Also crazy how low the % of murders were committed with firearms compared to today.

With how racist and corrupt Philly is. This is no surprise. CACS are responsible for this at the end of the day.

House people like rats in poverty and drain every ounce of social benefit from the community and this is the end result.

I know plenty of folks in low income that ain't never killed or robbed.

I want to visit soon like Maybe next month. I haven't been since 2010. I didn't get a chance to check out much of the city. It seems dope too. Really old and historical city like Boston where I'm from. I want to visit the hood too and not just see the tourist areas
