Microsoft was ahead of the comp when it came to implementation since the OG Xbox. They just really screwed up selling the Xbox 1 but look at us now, essentially always online.

Thanks for mentioning this. Phil Spencer done the exact same thing that Don Mattrick was criticized for. He brought services that always keeps the players online. It seems that was Microsoft's plan all along and he had the marketing savvy to get it done by offering "value".
