He kills me when he ALWAYS defends the refs...as soon as there is a blatant bad call, he gets silent, then he reaches for the tiniest sliver of a reason the ref made the call . How hard is it just to say it was a bad call?

Peyton (by the way peyton>eli)
Rothlisberger

Then you add in some accolades and a ring doesnt hurt

Actually the fans are the ones who are reactionary and forget that Eli has had his share of ordinary\forgettable seasons in his career.

The thing about Eli is he has a top notch skillset like Romo does, but like another poster said, when the post season hits, he completely blacks out and that makes all the difference.

I don't think he's "elite" though. Its 5-6 guys I could probably deal with before him

I saw him at Ole Miss and new off the top he had all the raw ability to be great, and he is.

I just like to reserve the word "elite" for a select few.
