There aren't many options left at this point. Particularly ones with real experience.Shouldve went with a fresh hire

I think that makes the most sense. Have him be the coach for 2-3 years, bring a young guy who isn't quite ready for the head job like Joe Brady in as the HC in waiting, get the program back on track then you can kick him up to a president of football ops position or somethingGreat hire, turn that culture around and then ride off in the sunset. Good job Mark
Folks so caught up in the young hot shot OC's. There is only one damn Sean McVay, people can't seem to realize that.McVay and Tomlin are the only coaches under 55 to win a SB since 2000
agreed.
GOOD HIRE FOR VEGAS
IMO he's should've gotten the Jaguars HC job a few years back. Hell just off the simple fact Byron should be coaching in the nfl (not necessarily saying I a HC job) off the merit he was on the Bucs coaching staffing when they won the super bowl a few years back.
UNLIKE A PROVEN HEAD COACH
BYRON DOESNT HAVE THE LUXURY
OF SITTING AT HOME AND HOPING
TO LAND A JOB WITHOUT ACTUALLY WORKING.
DUDE SHOULD HAVE BEEN
ON SOMEONES STAFF OVER THE LAST
2 YEARS IF HE WAS SERIOUS ABOUT
CONTINUING HIS COACHING CAREER
This definitely isn't true, also the oldest coach to win a SB won at 68.McVay and Tomlin are the only coaches under 55 to win a SB since 2000

Been hearing this for years and the Chiefs still run that division.I expect the AFC West to be a bloodbath next year.
I want AFC Norf levels of violence.
He was a .500 coach who was also a disaster in Arizona. He won a division title and was a constant playoff team in that era with the Slurs and Giants.
This is part three since the Pac10.
WTF, the Coli sports reporters told me that Deion was going there in a package deal with his son Shedeur
