I think that makes the most sense. Have him be the coach for 2-3 years, bring a young guy who isn't quite ready for the head job like Joe Brady in as the HC in waiting, get the program back on track then you can kick him up to a president of football ops position or something

IMO he's should've gotten the Jaguars HC job a few years back. Hell just off the simple fact Byron should be coaching in the nfl (not necessarily saying I a HC job) off the merit he was on the Bucs coaching staffing when they won the super bowl a few years back.
