He's not a technician, but isn't he in charge of the people who supervise them?
Not being a contrarian or argumentative here, I am not totally clear on the specifications of his role and want to know.
If he is, then yes, he bears some accountability for such failures.

Who are these people? She basically changed topics to the FAA computer glitch to blame Pete for an AA runway incursion. You don't need to lie to hold Pete accountable.
People want radical change, but this administration didn't run on that. Removing Pete won't lead to vast overhaul in policy.

Listening to this podcast about aviation and airline issues/failures. Towards the end of it, a listener asks why don’t we bring back Rule 240…..which basically says airlines are mandated to get customers on next available flight regardless of which airline it is.
