Also, skits in general. Tell the story with your music. I don’t need Chris Rock on here telling me your fukking business. Your skits aren’t funny and they’re fukking lazy.

Corny punchlines

Nikkas that use played metaphors..."im posted up in the hood like a streetlight"

Excessive gun bars...like when the majority of the verses are all gun clappin

Excessive adlibs

Excessive outros....hate when nikkas have the beat play for like a minute after all rapping is done

Anything cookiecutter production wise whether trap or boombap.

I dnt fw that 16 pad overly chopped sample sounds....that Apollo Brown shyt...he has his moments but that style gets irritating after a while

The most annoying shyt is the watermark beat shyt. Dudes have to have their name or some stupid gimmick maybach music before every song starts. shyt is so fukkin annoying. Harry fraud, Mike will or whatever whomever. shyt is just dumb.

This came out in 1996:



Aquemini was recorded in 1997. This is when Andre started referring to himself as Andre 3000 and wearing wigs. Kool Keith had been wearing wigs and wild outfits prior to that.

I’ll have to do some digging but Kool Keith even talked about “a rapper” using his concepts in an interview and he was obviously talking about Andre 3000.
