It's gonna be a hot summer. They said it's gonna be its most content heavy Persona release yet.

Yeah fukk it. SUmmer 2016 gives me time since summer nothing crazy is out though there will already be a slew of games out by then(UC4, SFV, Ratchet and Clank etc.)
That gives me more time to at least get into the games before hand. Plus I need to beat Nocturne.

I was really just pissed because of the constant "It's coming in 2015!!" from Atlus PR recently. They must've been kept in the dark(The US branch) or something.

Also Atlus teased a new JRPG they're making(they didn't show it yet.)

Hoping it's a new SMT on PS4 but knowing them it'll be some dumb shyt like Persona Drawing with Kanji.

If I want GTA don't tell me to play saints row. I know there's other good RPGs but none of them are like a Persona. What other jrpg games are like Persona? All these other ones are the typical fantasy bullshyt that's played out.

Edit: I don't view games as all "good" . Certain titles are plain just better to me.
For example Darksiders may be good but come the fukk on Zelda is plain old better. It's like putting tales of Symphonia in the same category as FFVII. Modnation Racers is good but it ain't Mario Kart.

I see why you ride for Sony so hard. You seem to have gaming tunnel vision. Play one good game and that's all that matters.

It's like going to see a movie like Batman Begins loving it and saying all I care about it Batman movies from now on and if Batman isn't in the movie I'm not interested. The fact remains there are other good movies out there and if you don't wanna see them that's your loss.

Persona is a great series but it's certainly not the be all end all of JRPGs.

Persona 4 was the best JRPG and the only one that could compete with a sea of WRPGs that were coming out back then. Fallout 3 was out, GTAIV was out. If Atlus is saying they're gonna raise the bar I believe them. They did it with Golden.

Breh I'm just upset my most anticipated title got delayed. Telling me to try something else isn't really assuaging me right now. Like some games are better, it's just how it is. After I played Persona 4 Golden other rpgs just weren't up to par. Same thing happened after beating 999;.other visual novels weren't as good. sure I liked Danganronpa but...

I just don't care about final fantasy or tales anymore. I played those before persona and now I couldn't care less about them. Only KH3 I'm interested in and ffxv lesser.

Edit: I don't know why you seem to think other games don't matter to me. I didn't say that. I just don't feel as strongly for them as my most anticipated titles. I'm playing MGSV right now, a game I didn't seem to care about up until a couple of weeks before launch.

Just because some of the best titles last gen so happened to be Sony exclusives doesn't mean anything. Uncharted 2, P4G and 999 were my favourite titles last gen. Uncharted 2 is IMO clearly better than most titles that came out that gen. The fact lots of games tried imitating it(RE6, ME3, H4, TR, COD etc.) doesn't make it just "good". It clearly was in another league. Just like Smash Bros is clearly superior to PlayStation All stars... oh wait that cant be true I'm a stan.

Tl;Dr. I'm tired of the European fantasy WRPG that we're inundated with these days. I've had it up to here with these Witcher and LOTR types. There're so overused.

Exactly. Persona was a breathe of fresh air. So many WRPGS and a trash FFXII soured me on jrpgs. Let this dude tell it, FFXIII is as good as Persona.
