Nope. I'm a very generous person until someone asks for more than $20. With Social Media and such, women can make money quite easily. I've heard of dudes sending women gifts through Amazon Wishlist for no reason whatsoever.
not expecting her to make money, but she better be doing something productive.
Examples? If the two are dating and she doesn't have her own place because she doesn't work are you moving her in?
If she's not working because she's going to school, or living with her parents and can take care/hold down a house and we've been dating a good time I wouldn't see nothing wrong with letting her stay at my place.
I just can't process her being completely freeloading and messing up my place without at least working towards something greater or able to take care of where she lives

Because it seems like you won't be prepared when the person you find attractive starts to put a strain on your financial life.

I have to ask: what kind of dates/trips are you taking her on?
Working isn't necessary. But they should be trying to improve themselves and working towards a goal.
