They have a head start and are taught financial literacy. All we’re taught to be is consumers and I hate it. But me having 2 kids and another on the way I know money doesn’t raise kids parents do. Of course you need to provide a home and all that but you better have some wisdom and advice for them.

the crazy thing about financial literacy is what a difference it makes to ingrain habits.

i was a kid who naturally saved my little pocket money; I got $5 a week and saved 3, but I never had that “oh that’s good, you should do this or that with it” because nobody around me knew about encouraging good financial habits. I had to re-learn that shyt when older and now I’m like “damn this is something I definitely want my kids to know about”
