At this point I’m lost at how anyone can think these parties legitimately matter. It just doesn’t matter both sides are compromised by the same entities and neither are going to do anything for their constituents.

In all honesty, it's because we allow it. Whenever there is someone running that speaks for the people (usually a grassroots campaign) only a handful of people vote for that person and chooses the big money establishment politician instead

Democrats are the slow burn party. People are thinking your eventual death by 1,000,000 cuts gives you more of a punchers chance than being shot in the face.

With Republicans it's very easy to point out all the civil rights they're taking away from you and get people to recognize that kind of poison.

With the Democrats, it's still kind of hard to point to the median black family's net worth moving closer and closer to zero and getting people to recognize what doing nothing to address that means in a capitalist society. Especially when you have the Republican party being more in your face and outspoken about how they're oppressing you. The conformist nature will just have them telling you what the Democrats aren't doing as a justification for supporting them.

And then they'll start using these weirdo witch hunt/name call games to suppress your voice if you say anything contrary or critical about the party. You need to accept your death by 1,000,000 cuts like the rest of us and don't try to convince us our way isn't working. ESPECIALLY if they got theirs.

I hope people have caught on that this both sides shyt is only coming from scumbag Republicans trying to engineer black voter turnout in favor of their party.

Elections are gonna come and go, someone is going to win, and our government is gonna move on and function whether we vote or not. The job of this entire coutry doesnt come to a screeching halt because some hashtag comprising of only a tiny portion of the populace thinks they can "leverage their vote."

Black people only make up 13% of the population. Of black folks who are eligible to vote only like 50% do so because deep down we not as uncomfortable with white supremacist political power as much as we love to put on for YouTube, so let's call that 7% of the population. Yall target mostly "black Americans" and use reparations and made up diaspora rivalries as a manipulative means to explain the goal of your both sides don't vote shyt; excluding and alientating Caribbeans and African voters as anti-black, anti reparations, accessories of the Democrat party since yall think exclusion is somehow a winning strategy in politics. So that brings us down to like 3-4% of voters. Do the math and realize yall really aren't as influential as you think. Political parties and entire governments and shutting down because of yall.
