The fact that he's been considered a mid to late rounder is wild. The injury history is certainly a concern but talent wise he looks like a top 10 pick to me. He should be QB3 in the draft, ahead of Jaylen Daniels but behind Caleb Williams and Drake Maye. Looking at the draft order if you're the Giants, Jets, or Falcons all in the later top 10...what excuse do you have not to heavily consider him?
I heard Mel Kiper criticizing Drake Maye a lot and arguing Caleb Williams is the clear #1 which surprised me. There's always a smear campaign against black QBs but maybe Caleb won't be the target this time. Maybe it'll be Penix Jr and Jayden Daniels getting attacked in order to move Bo Nix up the board.
