Allah Haymon needs them weak to bring GGG/Nelo/Saunders/Jacobs/Andrade to the table
Now that they struggled with Harrison and Korobov those dudes will no longer be in fear of those two.

and Korobov ain't get robbed. Close competitive fight that went to the A-side. Did Mall look bad, yes, especially in the 1st half, but he took over during the 2nd half. Fight had a drawish vibe tho

Korobov and Harrison got zero publicity.
The commentary was horrid and the two showcase fighters looked like ass.
At best Korobov and Harrison are on undercards again.
This was a disaster for PBC.
Not in the last round he didn't
but, fight was close whoever you thought won.
Jermell was the only one who got straight robbed tho. There's no way Harrison won 7 or 8 rds. It was hard enough finding 4 or 5 rounds he won.

For PBC sure..(only in the immediate short term), but for FOX...no.
We are talking about this, this outcome has created the most buzz possible. Harrison got 1 for 1 publicity with Charlo on all the Social Media feeds and video clips, he was also half featured in the PBC Countdown, he just didn't get a Face to Face..because yes, it was a Charlo themed card.
The way they're going to set this up now is that Jermell will comeback and claim what's rightfully his on a FOX PPV...headlined by Spence/Garcia
The Jermall part I agree with you on fully...I just think he was too shook after the robbery, and that Russian is more seasoned and legit than people know. If the bigger Charlo got his usual KO..it would have made it a lot more easier to digest.
Sometimes you have to look at the silver lining, this controversy has created waves....if Jermell got his usual KO, this thread would have been dead on Sunday, no lie.
Remember..all this extra programming etc is going to continue for 4x years straight the exact same way..it's not going away..this isn't a one time thing, and unlike the first UFC on FOX, PBC didn't have the initial buzz....the UFC on FOX cards dropped in viewership card by card because the fighters were already known. PBC on FOX will have the opposite effect because most of these fighters are completely new to the general public.
sooooooo many people had NO idea about all the additional shoulder programming that they've had this last month.
This creates that initial buzz, and essentially brings in new eyes.

watching the fight, it felt like jermell won but Harrison was landing shots when he threw. and charlo was missing on a lot of punches, he seemed like he too antsy to try and get a stoppage, I don't like going off compubox but it makes the fight look closer based on them stats. defense has to be accounted for and Harrison was making him miss a lot.
I did wanna see charlo vs hurd but I felt hurd would beat him regardless. I felt hurd pressure and workrate would wear jermell down, but mell was in great condition and looked athletic all fight. its unfortunate the decision but the commentary was slanted as hell. them boys might need roy or max in there. at least somebody who not as biased.
hurd is giving Harrison that work again if they meet up. big charlo can use the my brother got robbed for an excuse, but he looked bad also. korobov was giving him mad problems, korobov is underrated but jermall will have problems with Andrade and saunders who are even slicker and move well. definitely would have issues with canelo and Jacobs also. all in all, it was good fights. 160 is heating up but all these dudes need to fight each other.
