The reality is both parties SHOULD split the bill on the first few dates (any dates before y'all are a couple). This "the person who asked" shyt is nonsense...If a friend asks you out, there's no question that you're buying your own food, drinks, tickets, admission, etc. and if we ain't a couple, then we're just friends at that point.

With that said, I don't worry too much about this, and most chicks do expect it, so :manny:

I always hated paying for first dates. I remember one time, I met this chic at a club, took her to IHOP later that night. Broad was acting like she was the shyt and the b*tch refused to box up her left overs. In the end, I didn't beat and she left half her food on the table :snoop:

But yeah, Starbucks, Panera and places like that are the perfect spots for first dates. Women know if they like you or not within the first couple of mins of meeting you. So paying for dinner is pointless. My girl was the only chic that at least acted like she wanted to pay on the first date. The rest would just stare are me when the bill was dropped off.

generally chill or go out for activities that dont really cost money the first few times meeting so that I already know where we stand before going out on a dinner date or anything like that.

What kind of loser ass comment is this? It's a date. Stop overthinking shyt. You're doing everything wrong. When you go out, whether it's someone you know or not, you're putting yourself out there. A date isn't fool proof or guaranteed anything.

You sound like a guy who got friend zone'd a lot. It wasn't because you paid for the date. The problems women have with you are deeper than $$.
