Do you also make a case for John Stockton being number 1 all time in Steals and number 1 all time in Assists as well? That is 1 player is number 1 all time in 2 of the top 5 statistical categories. Does that make him the best point guard or a top 10 player of all time? Or did he just play for a long ass time. I never really understood this argument with counting stats.

Lebron has been playing for 17 seasons, has 3 rings and won 2 of his 3 rings on a created superteam. All of his other rivals for all time great status have either won more or won similar in a shorter time period.

What is your case for him being ahead of Duncan if you have one.

No Duncan and all those internationals aren't amounting to shyt for the Spurs. They won title because of their franchise cornerstone, period.

No...they won because the Spurs put players around that franchise cornerstone.

You REALLY going to say Duncan did it alone?

Never mind a HOF coach.

Nevermind HOF Tony Parker

Nevermind HOF Ginobili

Nevermind HOF Kwahi.

NBA discussions are pure trash. This is another example of how they're built on stupidity.

Obviously not, but those players were replaceable. Duncan was not. You need an MVP (in some cases, two) to win titles. Once you got that, the pieces around are interchangeable.

They're easily replaceable. :russ:

This is why NBA discussions are trash. And it starts from the media on down.

The worst in sports.

They weren't there in '99, still won

They were role players in '03, still won

They were all star reserve caliber in '05 and '07, still won.

The one constant? Duncan was an MVP caliber, top 5 player each of those years. Kawhi wasn't who he was now back in the Duncan years either.
