yeah let’s just act like saying Vince is harder to guard than Bron is some normal shyt. The OPs point is how peers talk about Bron in relation to Kobe or MJ. Find a nikka making a toughest played to guard list with Clyde drexler over MJ or Vince over Kobe. Y’all just proving Swags point.

Was that list a ranking or was he naming people that are hard to guard?

If you can't stop someone, then that inherently makes them hard to guard. I don't understand what Pat was getting at. Just because nikkas like Kobe, Jordan, and T-Mac do all that extra shyt to score doesn't mean they're harder to guard than LeBron. Hell, KD will straight shoot over nikkas, but Pat gives him credit.

The fact that LeBron keeps his game relatively simple while still being uber effective means that he's hard to guard.

yeah but he was listed 4th, and two of the guys ahead of him never won shyt. The fact a nikka would even put Vince Carter above Bron on a list like that is telling

Was he ranking them from hardest to easiest?

He said Melo was harder to guard than Kobe too even though he’s lower on the list. I don’t think it was a ranking from top to bottom so why are you pushing the narrative like he said VC was harder to guard than Lebron?

i assumed the list was in order but shyt I could be wrong:hubie: I’ll eat it if I am

besides pierce though I think there actually is a player who said Bron was the toughest to guard. It was recent too in the last few years.

Jimmy Butler.

And it barely matter. Lebron’s isolation skill set isn’t as refined as Kobe’s or MJ’s but he’s still an elite isolation scorer and one of the most unstoppable offensive players of all time. Even if he’s not a GOAT scorer, he’s a GOAT-tier offensive player. Just like Jordan and Kobe are.

People like @Swagnificent says he calls for screens as if he needs them to get free but it’s more that getting his teammate involves opens up his most dangerous offensive talent which is his vision and decision making.

The 718
Patterson and Bell never disrespected Kobe's GAME. Raja Bell called Kobe "a pompous arrogant punk". That was a shot at Kobe personally. Calling yourself the Kobe stopper isn't disrespecting Kobe's game. He essentially saying Kobe's unstoppable to everyone else but I can stop. Rueben was hyping himself up. He wasn't dissing Kobe.

Patrick Beverely with this comment dissed LeBron's game. He didn't say I can stop LeBron. He said LeBron ain't hard to guard. As in almost anyone can do it. This was a direct shot at Bron's game. Something I've never seen happen to Kobe or Jordan.
The Pistons, especially John Salley and Mark Aguirre, talked all kinds of slick shyt about MJ's game when they were beating him.

LeBron scores off picks and shooters spreading the floor for his drives. That's why he doesn't get respect. Not because he's simple.

Players respect guys who dominate mano y mano. They don't respect guys who call for picks.

Bill Laimbeer said he’d take Lebron over Jordan “every day of the week.” If we’re taking the opinion of Lebrons peers seriously, we must also take the opinions of Jordan’s peers seriously
