I came to this conclusion years ago. It's what made me leave the church altogether.

Man...I have stories for days when it comes down to church hurt:

• Was apart of a church where the apostle and the husband (Senior pastor) were drug addicts
• Been to a church where the pastor was fukking the congregation, while his wife was working at Target
• Another church where the legit pastor was treated like dog shyt from his old congregation (the irony is that he was the best one), in favor for the "old ways"

After a while, you start to realize that maybe the church is within you. My family and I pray together, do Sunday devotions, and meditate on God's word. If you feel it in the spirit, then the church never left...

most churches are small. The church I go to has around 40 people, I give my ten percent and even more. Pastor ain't taking a salary and no one is getting paid how is rent supposed to get paid or donations or helping the poor?

Now yes there are some scamming churches and scamming pastors out there but that's not the majority.
