Problem I have with this convo is the focusing on the effect and not the cause.

There is levels to it and dismissing it without looking at the big picture is not helping solve anything

In other words you just wanna pass the buck to white people. Go on and do it, this IS the fault of institutional racism after all. however this setup is advantageous to them which gives them no incentive to change it. so maybe black people should take initiative/responsibility for their fates and stop spinning the wheels of this racist system. Solves way more things than just pointing fingers especially when people already know.
