More civilized countries have these -

But then again, those would probably be smeared with semen, gum, urine and shyt in NYC.
have what?

I read about this story last night on dnainfo. I ALWAYS stay close to the wall and since I used to take the train every day to the bronx. There was a big fight on the 4 train right after yankee stadium once and it looked like dude was trying to throw him into the tracks when I was like 15. You just never know who is behind you plotting something. The people who keep leaning over to see if the train is coming always kill me...what difference does it make? :wtf:

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
MTA starts putting that in and they will bump that price to $5 a ride breh...or $250-$300 per unlimited monthly metrocards

Would be nice to see tho

Like I said, more civilized countries have them, here the bottom line is always more important than human life.

Japan is now starting to get them, and they don't have nearly as many lunatics as we do.

to be fair how many incidents have happened in the past couple of years here in the states? I have no idea...I am about to do some research on this now.

I wonder if they have this in Tokyo...planning a visit out there this summer :youngsabo:

See, that's the thing, we're a band-aid society and act only after something happens, slap a band-aid on it after the fact. In other countries they are installing these screen doors or already have them before anything happens.

Oh I agree with you, but the sad reality of it all is that it will continue to be this way until a heavy civil unrest occurs. NYC and the MTA will have a tough time installing those for the simple fact that it will literally break people. The subway is a necessity out there and I see a large percentage of that population unable to pay even more than they already are daily. $200+ a month is damn near a week's pay for many out there...that's nuts (I am estimating that's what the rate will go up to to have that installed city-wide)

From the descriptions we have so far, it definitely appears that the woman who pushed him was mentally ill. Most of these subway deaths happen either because of alcohol or mental illness on the part of the victim or the pusher, if there is one. This story wouldn't have been reported were it not for the last death with the photo.
these deaths via subways happen more than they're reported..
many times it's freak accidents, but these two are criminal cases and that's why they're "big news"

what difference does it make? To get inside before everyone else? I never saw what the big deal was...

Also, why don't people collectively get together to chase and knock down the person who does these kind of things? We have gotten soft man.
