The Gov't is ran by white supremacists.Too busy with BIE
I see a lot of overly simplistic and intellectual lazy anti-gun memes floating around as a way to score political points amidst this tragedy. As African-Americans, especially, we should approach this issue in a politically unbiased manner to pinpoint the major factors and causes with a thorough appraisal of them all given that this affects us the most.
Firstly, there's reports that give a much more in depth analysis of violent crime, such as in the US vs the UK, which is very restrictive on guns, that some tout as a gun free haven, actually has a higher violent crime rate than the US, believe it or not.
The homicide rate is higher in the US, but when you look at homicide stats broken down by different settlement environment types, you find that the bulk of our homicides come small pockets of large metropolitan areas.
Homicides tend to correlate much closer with income, education, resources, family structure, and development environment than with gun liberties. Thus why the bulk of our homicides come from small pockets of large metropolitan areas.
Of the firearm homicides, only %3.4 were caused by rifles(not just assault rifles).
Down with anti-intellectualism!
According to the FBI Uniform Crime Report, in 2016, only %3.4 of the firearm murders and %2.5 of the total murders were done with rifles(knives, blunt objects and hands/feet account for more murders). Assault rifles are but one subset of the rifle group.

Hard to get guns up there?
not as easy as the states but its still eay
weve had a few school shootings but as a majority we rarely have multiple shootings
Normally I wouldn't second guess going but shyt is real hectic right now. These alt-right muthafukkers are more emboldened than ever, and an event like this is just the place to set it off. I hate thinking like that but you never know.was just thinking a shooting might happen during a BP showing.
We had this white kid who was profiled. A lot of folks straight up stunned him. He was a devil worshiper. I didn't. I was okay with him. Probably one of the only one who wasn't a devil worshiper like him. Getting to know him was well interesting. I didn't quite trust him but I only trusted a few and those weren't even my friends who were untrustworthy as ever. I remember someone said he was going to shoot up the school as a rumor. It blew up and the news came to our school. He didn't say it and shyt but I know that due to his love for Marilyn Manson, he was going to be a target.I'll play devil's advocate.
It's a slippery slope to start profiling kids just because they are different from everyone else. I was different.
Ben Swann? I don't believe this is true.Firstly, there's reports that give a much more in depth analysis of violent crime, such as in the US vs the UK, which is very restrictive on guns, that some tout as a gun free haven, actually has a higher violent crime rate than the US, believe it or not.
Why are you using erroneous right wing/White supremacist/Trumpian propaganda to defend US gun policy?

Here's something simple: Social media post says U.K. has far higher violent crime rate than U.S. does
Here's something far more detailed: Dispelling The Myth
see you same time in 3 monthsIts really sad when you start thinking America is overdue for a mass shooting and it happens a few days later.
