the bolded are some of my favorite movies of all time. especially Hana-bi and Memories of Murder which are in my top 20.

i rewatched Hana-Bi a few days ago. If I could show everyone alive one movie it might be that one Takeshi Kitano as a whole is just unlike any other director.

Memories of Matsuko and Election are real good too

I'm assuming yeah, but it's just an assumption. They could go the "Fargo" route and just use elements of the movie while telling a new story. Who knows?

seen Oldboy, the host and my girl put me on to train to busan, fire. I’ve always wanted to watch I saw the devil. Good looks.

'The Handmaiden' by the director of Oldboy is awesome, and its on prime video.

Glad to see a lot of asian film fans. All time favorite is a tv series, the 1986 version of journey to the west. If you ever wanted to understand Chinese folktale and culture this series is amazing.
