The rich family were dumb a$$holes. The broke family were legit scumbags. The poor family or rich family
The only reason the poor family could take such advantage of the rich family was because of their many prejudices regarding 'lesser citizens'. I really wouldn't put one family over the other. The rich family were dumb a$$holes. The broke family were legit scumbags.

The rich family was elitist, out of touch and benignly prejudiced while the broke family were predators.
The rich family went about their lives oblivious to the harm they might be doing to others while the other family knew they were being awful but felt like just because they were poor they had the right to take advantage of other people.
Neither family was a prize but there are levels to the awful between the two.
What exactly do you disagree with?Disagree. The word parasite could refer to either family. That's what makes this movie so cool.
They were predators because they had no choice growing up in poverty. There is a scene where the poor family is like "these rich people are nice" and the mom is like "they are nice because they are rich".The rich family was elitist, out of touch and benignly prejudiced while the broke family were predators.

They had a choice to not run a con on that family. Being poor doesn't absolve you from being trash ass criminals and doing shytty things to strangers. They were predators because they had no choice growing up in poverty. The father represents the arrogant callous out of touch with reality elite upper class. His disdain for anything close to poverty or his bubble being affected is displayed throughout the movie. For example the limo rides and the "poor man smell" quote we all keep dapping
The rich father made the face when he smelled the dead man's body and had to reach for the car keys under it while "Jessica" was bleeding to death in her father's arms which he gave zero fukks about.

You are trolling horribly or you completely missed the theme of the movie. You should watch it again and focus on the rich family and how they treat people. Plus read interviews from the director himselfThe rich family were not callous enough for anyone to hate them. Kids were cool, mom was ditzy but cool, dad complained about a person who lived in the slums being smelly...whoopie. The poor family killed, stole, conned and framed others. They were much worse people.

The con wasn't harmful to the rich family. It only hurt the employees they had to remove from their spot to get into the family, and when the housekeeper returned later they at least had a basic understanding of having wronged her. They had a choice to not run a con on that family. Are you just in a mood to fight over nothing? Because I have repeatedly posted that both families were trash. Coming at me with this ridiculous Bernie Bro "eat the rich" cosplay Socialist nonsense. The con wasn't harmful to the rich family. The rich family never gave a shyt about their loyal employees to the point they let their prejudices about lower class people instantly outweigh the long relationship they had built up with them. The reason they were so easily manipulated was because they were scumbags just the same. They just had the luxury (literally) to take a more passive stance in achieving the same goal, which was to create a life of comfort.
The entire point of the movie is that the two families were essentially chasing the same goal, but one had reached and arrogantly sat in their ivory tower looking down on the people below struggling to climb the tower, and the other family had to pull down others to climb higher and even get a glimpse of the top.
But I understand you have accepted the enormous and unbalanced class/wealth differences of capitalism as "normal" so of course you didn't see what the rich family was "doing wrong".

And I completely disagree that the con wasn't harmful to the rich family. The little boy had legit emotional issues that his parents thought were being dealt with by the fake "art therapy" the sister was faking and the poor family's son was going to marry that naive idiot rich daughter just for the money. He had no real feelings for her.
