This could work if they pick the right actors.

They wouldn't. They can't.

I see people saying "why shouldn't they remake this, it's not some sacred movie!"....that's not the point.

The movie was the perfect storm of 90's fukkery.

John Woo, regardless of how you feel about him, was the quintessential 90's action movie director.

John Travolta was having an unprecedented come back following "Pulp Fiction".

And Nic Cage was coked out of his mind.

The only way I can kinda see this working is if they get the people behind "John Wick". And even then the remake would be so tonally different it might as well be a new movie. Even if they copied the same plot and script.

Breh, exactly.

The Face/Off doesn't need a reboot the original was decent enough.

I quite sure there are tons of new ideas pasting through these producers/content providers desk. Yet, they up here reboot 20 year old classics that stand on their on.
