If Jason is really on the hotseat and there's a chance there's a new coach next year then you got to wait and let him decide who he wants at QB. I want Sam Ehlinger. The guy reminds me of Dak in a lot of ways but he's a better passer and he ain't scared to run.
He likely will not come out in 2020 and if we franchise Dak next year and still do not sign him long term, we need to get Lawrence in 2021.

I don't think we'll ever be bad enough to get Lawrence but we could get Sam on the back of the 1st or even 2nd rounds.
You don't have to be bad anymore to get what you want. The past few drafts has showed us that.

also, right now and I love Sam Ehlinger and his progress, he still has to show more that he could be a 1st or 2nd rounder. Right now, he's not even a 3rd. He must improve on accuracy and decision making. Also, while it's nice that he runs, we don't know if the new potential coach would want him doing that in his system.

You're going to have to be very bad to get Lawerence b/c half the league is going to want him and nobody is giving up that #1 pick. I know Sam isn't perfect but I think he's as best as you can get without drafting in the top half of the 1st round. I think he's in for a special season.

If Dak doesn't get a contract then Garrett is most surely gone doing anything other than getting to the NFC championship. I can't imagine what type of coach would want to come here behind Garrett AFTER the team has sunk a bunch of money into Dak and are stuck with him.

I've always felt Dak deal would get done...but him asking for this much money changes things...he might have to play it out this year now.

Dallas gonna fukk around and have Dak throw 40 tds and really have to pay 40 mil :russ:
I'll take that chance.
Dez is just being the big hearted person he's always been, and yet the team got rid of him because he was too much of a problem.:stopitslime:

Dez is a good dude. Look at this post from CZ:

Dez needs to shut it. I wouldn't doubt if he's intentionally egging for Dak to ridiculously get paid so much since Dez knows that would destroy this team (unable to afford the same core of key players).

:gucci:

I swear most white people lump in Dez in the same category as T.O/Antonio Brown/etc.

I understood T.O's personality though, and I still can't get over Garrett having one of the highest football IQ players ever in T.O and relegating him to 2 routes.:snoop:
