@smitty22 ya boy had a good day in practice today. i thought he looked smooth in the preseason game.

That’s beautiful to see breh. I really hope he can stay healthy which he hasn’t he whole pro career. His time at OSU he was a great deep threat who was money at tracking and catching deep throws. Hopefully he keep up what he is doing and makes the team.

Its going to be some tough decisions for the FO when it comes to WR position

Smith, JVJ, and Wilson all probably would make the team any other year but we arent keeping 7-8 receivers

Coop
MG13
Cobb
Tavon
Brown :francis:

All are locks. I say cut Brown and keep JVJ and Wilson :yeshrug:

Man, WR is the most meaningless position on this team after the top 3/4, who are already locked in.

Like any of the guys battling for WR5/6 will ever see the field for anything more than blocking. Like our QB is going to bring out their inner brilliance.

Really couldn't give a fukk less about WR depth. If anything happens to Cooper, everyone but Cobb is going to look like Terrance Williams 2015 with Brandon Weeden throwing to him.

Horrendous throw? fukk clip are you watching b? He placed that ball in the perfect spot. :gucci:
Ball barely cleared the DB who had his back turned until the very last second. He didn't lead the WR, he hit him square. Which is fine except for the fact that the DB was right on his hip and literally if he turns around a half second earlier it's a pick.

It's a better catch than a throw. The throw allows the DB to easily make a play on the ball cause he's right in position. Just have to get his head turned around, which other teams around the league seem to teach. Risky throw. Paid off in practice. Maybe it pays off in a game. But it's always best to put the ball where the defender can't get it. He did anything but on that throw.

Both of the above clips of Cooper Rush throwing to Smith is perfect ball placement, imo. He beat his man both plays, but even if he didn't, the DB has no play on the ball because of the angle of the throw and how far he leads him. That's the shyt I expect to see from The Forty Million Man, not the Clipboard Cackup.

Didn't lead him?? YOu need to watch the clip again breh, that ball was out of Dak's hands before Gallup even made his cut. If you pause the clip you can see it in the air when Gallup is cutting and shoving off Brown. He got the ball there high enough and with enough velocity that Brown didn't have time to make a play on it before turning his head. You can say "what if he turned his head earlier" but the reason the coverage was so tight was because Brown was facing up with Gallup and holding him on the cut, so Dak made the throw he knew Gallup could get to. That ball was perfectly placed.

It is a risky throw but that's the kind of throw ppl complain Dak doesn't make in games.. that's the kind of throw an elite QB makes. Anticipation, velocity, ball placement, Tight window, no margin for error... ppl say Dak doesn't make those and that's why he gets Alex Smith comparisons. Now ultimately it doesn't matter here because it's a 1 on 1 drill and the ball was going there no matter what. Would he have made that throw in a real game? Who knows... but that was a money throw given the situation.

OJ making more sense than 80% of the COLI..lol

He's 50% right....that guy who makes 2x your money can't tap his helmet and sub out. He has to make decisions on nearly every play and (as Zeke should know) if he's trash, that means you as a RB are running into brick walls on every play and getting your ass kicked ass a result...

Ask LeSean McCoy if he likes having QB that make half his salary...

(Also, I mean QB's in general matter more than running backs. Not saying Zeke should be happy to have Dak)
