He was looking nice in pre-injury last year according to reports.Guice really that nice though? He gotta show it coming off that injury. I’m just not impressed with their team. Philly is the only team to worry about imo
So Zeke wants a deal north of Gurley? Lol this is why I hate Garrett. He had three years to win when things were quiet. Now the bill is due and everybody wants to eat first.
I would not budge on Zeke. He owes us a least one more year for all the fukkery he's caused. At the very least this will expose Dak and bring his price down. Its why I hate Dak too
He cant win without Zeke. We are forced to give Zeke whatever he wants now :Cryinjimmy:
Imagine if we had just drafted Jalen Ramsey zesty ass and paired him back there with Byron Jones and this LB crew and DLine we've assembled.
We could have just drafted a dude in the 3rd round to give us 70% of Zeke's production with none of the suspension fukkery or contract demands.
Zeke is that dude, but picking him 4th overall looks shyttier and shyttier by the day.
Zeke is 90% of the offense, You couldn't have just drafted a dude because we've seen how bad the offense looks when he's not in the game. Dak only looks good when Zeke plays, which means you need a all pro type of player just to make it look decent. You also act like Byron didn't get exposed last year. Out of all the people they have to pay Zeke is the only one who's production has been consistent.Imagine if we had just drafted Jalen Ramsey zesty ass and paired him back there with Byron Jones and this LB crew and DLine we've assembled.

Well if we drafted Ramsey instead of Zeke, we'd probably have a different offensive philosophy. Hell, Romo might still be quarterback b/c Dak wouldn't look as good in '16.Zeke is 90% of the offense, You couldn't have just drafted a dude because we've seen how bad the offense looks when he's not in the game. I think they are willing and fully prepared to pay him but their reservation is Zeke’s off the field issue. If Zeke was a choir boy like Jalyon, he would have his deal by now.I'm saying. You don't spend first round picks on guys with the mindset of only keeping them 3-4 years. Any GM with that mindset should be shot dead.
You especially don't spend Top 5 picks on players you don't plan on retaining for 5-7 years. When you draft a guy Top 5, that guy is a cornerstone, not a recyclable asset. If you're drafting recyclable assets top 5, you're wasting valuable draft capital.
If we had drafted Ramsey, he would have been happy here wearing the Star and following in Deion's footsteps. No disgruntled shyt from being stuck in Jacksonville and playing with Bortles. He'd be an upper echelon corner and we would have no problems retaining him. Hell, he would have formed a good-great duo with Byron for 4 years and then we prob let Byron walk to pay Jalen. Simple.
With Elliott, the team and league are very reluctant to pay RBs franchise money. WHY THE fukk YOU DRAFT HIM AT 4 THEN. If you draft a RB top 10, the idea of having to pay him $40-60mil down the road should be baked into the decision. This isn't rocket science. This isn't Trent Richardson Bust scenario. You draft a guy thinking he's going to be your Gurley/LeVeon/AD/Ladanian, expect to pay him as such.
This front office apparently didn't realize that. Or they didn't plan for it. Idk what the fukk they were thinking. Now they look like idiots. Why the fukk you drafting a RB at 4 hoping he's a franchise cornerstone and why the fukk you trading a 1st for a WR1 who you think is a top 10 wideout in the league if you're not prepared or able to pay them? That's the thing that baffles me in all of this.
They had great foresight with the OL. Drafted em, hit on em, locked em up. Same with DLaw. Looks like it's going to be the same with the LBs. Hopefully...
The offensive skill positions though... They made shortsighted moves with Elliott and Cooper and now we're high-key fukked because of it.
Most importantly, fukk Dak Prescott. He's going to tank his own career and this franchise cause he cares more about an extra $3-5mil AAV than keeping high-end talent around him. High-end talent his pathetic noodle arm bytch ass desperately needs.
