I guess it's arguable, but I think (hope), that Sheed and Chauncey are both candidates.

nah they arent compare them to some of the dudes still waiting to get in. I think they will be some of those cats who get in when we are all in our 60s.

They have a handful of debatable players...but I wouldn't vote for any of them and doubt any get in.

But his point still stands...that team is clearly the exception. Titles aren't being won by teams without first ballot HOFers.

:obama: I can dig it.

But back to Phil. He's like Mr. Wolf from Pulp Fiction. Comes to clean up the mess.

Dude...

It ain't Phil's fault if they win. Mike Brown was 1-4 with this HOF team. Del Harris stunk it up with Phil's champ squads.

Phil is the man because Phil is the man. Point black period. People call Phil when they need to get shyt done.

Name another coach who has had the talent that Phil has had. I'll wait. :aicmon:

And I'm not saying he doesn't deserve some credit. You'll just have to excuse me for not groveling at his feet when this nikka has had a MJ and a Kobe at his disposal for his entire coaching career.

Sure not everyone can do what he's done in the same situation. You mention two good examples. I just can't respect it, anymore. And I'm gon hate.

Why won't this nikka go challenge himself and coach the Bobcats? :mjpls:

99.99 percent of coaches that won titles had at least 2 HOF on their team.

The Pistons were the one exception to the rule.

Media got folks fooled. Most people get their opinion spoon fed to them

John Wooden is celebrated for his 5011 championships even though he had the some of the greatest collegiate players of all times who went on to be NBA hof'ers

On the other hand, Phil Jackson is looked down upon for leading great players to multiple championships.....

Strange world we live in nowadays

1. Del Harris had Shaq and Kobe and lost.
2. Doug Collins had Mike and Scottie and lost.
3. Why would a high caliber coach.. excuse me, HIGHEST caliber coach in the history of the league choose to coach the WORST team in the history of the league. If that's the case why didn't Kobe leave the Lakers and go play for the Clippers after Shaq left?

nikka said, "I'll wait," like Phil is the only coach to have talent.

What about Jeff Van Gundy and Pat Riley in NY.

George Karl in Seattle, AND Denver.
