Floyd will give zero fukks about breaking his hands here

:duck: Yeah okay, Floyd breaks that right hand mid fight and he's done. Takes him about 4 rounds to get into his groove, going to have to wait another 3-4 rounds for the hand to numb. He's no down 8 rounds in the biggest fight of his career. I don't see "Money" May not giving a fukk about breaking his hand, sorry breh.

Floyd hurt his hand in the First maidana fight, but ariza introduced him to a guy who did better hand wraps, according to mayweather himself, which is why he didn't have any problems in the second fight even thought he was throwing hard shots so I doubt he will hurt his hand in this fight after he beats a beating on manny that's going to leave manny shocked, people don't understand how bad this guy is gonna get his ass beat

I am at a loss.....a lot of people in here have this opinion as if Pac is on the level of Gatti. To say Floyd is going to win is one thing (to which I disagree but know its highly possible), but to say he is going to get his "ass beat" is disrespect to Manny. Floyd didn't beat Chino ass, is the consensus here that Chino is a lot better than Pac?

When was the last time someone referred to Floyd's testing as Olympic Style testing for Conte to :cape:with his VADA propoganda :stopitslime:

March 13th:sas1:

Floyd Mayweather Jr., Manny Pacquiao agree to Olympic-type drug tests

16x9

Pacquiao and Mayweather

By Lance Pugmire
March 13, 2015, 7:22 p.m.

The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency has been retained to supervise rigorous drug testing for the Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Manny Pacquiao fight, leaving each boxer exposed to serious repercussions if either is found to be using performance-enhancing drugs.

USADA Chief Executive Travis Tygart told The Times the agreement will give his agency full access to conduct unannounced in- and out-of-competition blood and/or urine tests of the fighters at any point through fight night, May 2, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

“It’s a strong statement of the importance of clean and safe competition to have these two fighters voluntarily agree to have a WADA-level anti-doping program implemented for this fight. We commend them for their stand for clean sport and the message it sends to all those who want to compete clean at the highest levels of all sport,” Tygart said.

Tygart said both fighters agreed to stipulations of the World Anti-Doping Agency code, which calls for a four-year ban from competition for any athlete who tests positive for PEDs.

That would be a devastating fall for either the unbeaten, 38-year-old Mayweather or the record eight-division champion Pacquiao, 36.

USADA oversees drug testing programs for Olympic sports, including track and field, cycling and swimming, and also has been retained to preside over triathlons and some mixed-martial-arts and boxing matches.

USADA also is a founding partner with the U.S. Olympic Committee, Major League Baseball and the NFL in the Partnership for Clean Competition, which supports and funds advancements in drug-testing research. WADA, in turn, establishes international testing standards.

The Mayweather-Pacquiao fight is expected to shatter boxing pay-per-view and live-gate records, and Mayweather said at a news conference Wednesday in Los Angeles that he expects to earn “nine figures for 36 minutes of work.”

Mayweather first insisted on USADA testing for his fight against Shane Mosley in May 2010, after Pacquiao declined to participate in blood testing, a stance that led to the scrapping of the first attempted negotiation for a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight.

Mayweather later claimed in a video that Pacquiao used performance-enhancing substances, referring to “power pellets,” which led Pacquiao to sue Mayweather and ultimately collect a settlement believed to be in the $5-million range.

Pacquiao’s promoter, Bob Arum, said the rigid drug testing announced Friday “stops the rumors and bad speculation. This testing is cosmetic in the sense that it shuts up anyone making false accusations.

“We've agreed on the USADA testing, and we've agreed to their rules. I believe a lot of this that was spread around [about Pacquiao's reluctance to test] was unfortunate and nonsensical. There's not any issue with Manny or Floyd. They aren't taking performance-enhancing drugs.”

In 2012 Pacquiao suffered a sixth-round knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez, who had not been able to knock down Pacquiao in three previous bouts. For the 2012 bout the fighters were subjected to minimal drug testing, with urine tests performed by the Nevada State Athletic Commission only immediately before and after the fight.

Following that loss, Pacquiao agreed to random blood and urine tests by the Las Vegas-based Voluntary Anti-Doping Assn. for his bouts in Macao against Brandon Rios in 2013 and Chris Algieri last November, according to VADA's Margaret Goodman.

In this fight negotiation with Mayweather, Pacquiao quickly accepted Olympic-style drug testing.

USADA said it will inform both the Nevada commission and WADA of test results from Mayweather and Pacquiao. The agency plans to use the advanced Carbon Isotope Ratio process in testing for synthetic testosterone while also testing for the energy-boosting EPO and strength-building human growth hormone.

That's what Conte was referring to:sas2:

They are not doing Olympic-style drug testing. In order for that to be accurate, they would have to test 24-7/365 days a week.

:mjlol: bu....bu...bu....Vada is better :laff:

"Both boxers are going through blood and urine testing. They're being tested by USADA. Now, there's no bullet proof test in the world, but the toughest tests in the world are made by WADA. WADA is the authority in testing, so really frankly, I don't understand why people are still worrying about Floyd or worrying about Pacquiao," stated world-class Strength & Conditioning Coach Angel Heredia, who shared his thoughts on Mayweather vs. Pacquiao drug testing and discussed the differences and similarities between USADA and VADA testing. Check it out!

BT: Prior to being knocked out by Marquez, Pacquiao was unwilling to participate in random blood and urine testing. Since then, he's had a change of heart and has undergone VADA testing. This is the first time, however, that he'll be participating in the USADA program. Have you been paying attention to some of the recent Twitter chatter about the drug testing that's taking place for Mayweather vs. Pacquiao?

AH: I don't think Floyd or Pacquiao deserves to be accused of anything. Both boxers are going through blood and urine testing. They're being tested by USADA. Now, there's no bullet proof test in the world, but the toughest tests in the world are made by WADA. WADA is the authority in testing, so really frankly, I don't understand why people are still worrying about Floyd or worrying about Pacquiao. Both of them agreed to it, so let them do their thing.

BT: The debate I've seen being brought up is whether USADA or VADA does the better testing. Some people think that because VADA has caught some fighters using banned substances, they do better testing.

AH: You have to understand, VADA is an independent, intermediary contractor. They don't perform any testing and they don't perform any protocol of drug testing. All they do is they contract an independent sample collector and those sample collectors send the urine sample to a WADA [World Anti-Doping Agency] laboratory or accredited labs. In other words, they don't do anything. All they do is just want to take credit. All they want is to collect money. Frankly, all they've been saying to the public, or some of their spokesmen out there, the media who are in favor of them, they keep saying to the public that they do test for several different drugs. In reality, they don't test anything other than what WADA does. What WADA cannot detect, obviously VADA can't. VADA is simply an intermediary. Dr. Margaret [Goodman], I know she has been doing a good job and she's trying to do something good, I understand, but it's another thing to lie. Don't disguise yourself. Don't try to fool the public trying to lie to serve a product. Actually, VADA is not even recognized by WADA because they don't follow WADA protocols. Every one of the WADA protocols, they support with human data by tracking human analysis for years. So you're going to have VADA come in and do whatever they want? That's why WADA doesn't recognize them.

That's just something you have to understand. I don't want to call myself an expert, but I'm very knowledgeable because I worked with the Feds and I assisted USADA and I worked with anti-doping code. I didn't create a testing intermediary agency to make money. I assisted USADA for years. I helped USADA and Congress. I turned in plenty of protocols for testing and how to detect certain substances. I provided data of untraceable drugs. So now you're going to tell me that some idiot is going to say...you can talk all you want, but please provide some data. I want to see data. I want to see all the samples that have been collected. I want to see the times of sample testing. I want to see all of that. I asked VADA plenty of times and I asked Dr. Margaret through Twitter, but not one time did she inform me of that information, which I'm entitled to have. She said something about transparency. I don't see any of that. She's never provided me with any data, with the time the urine was collected, the time the urine got to the WADA-approved labs, the time it was actually tested; none of that. I could tell you all my boxers are getting tested every week or every two days, but really, where's the data?

BT: I guess some of the detractors aren't happy with the fact that this isn't true 24/7, 365 random blood and urine testing. Isn't something better than nothing though?

AH: Who's really doing 24/7? I mean, show me! Who is it? Like I said, you're falling into the game about what they're saying, but really, who are they doing? VADA doesn't show any data from their 24/7 testing program. I asked Margaret about the testing results and the data. I mean, anybody can say, "Yeah, he tested negative." Okay, but where are the results? Where is the data? What time did they come? How many times did you test a month? How many times did you test per week? They don't have any data; they didn't want to show me anything, so I guess it has to be subpoenaed. The data should be open to the public upon request. Whether someone pushes one or the other, at the end of the day, it's not up to us. In reality, it doesn't matter whether it's VADA or whether it's USADA. It's up to the boxing commissions and up to the television networks and up to the organizations to say, you know what, there's going to be a world championship fight and the moment you sign the contract, then you are entitled to random testing.

Let me give you an example, Pascal-Kovalev, just because Interbox decided to draw up a contract where testing was only going to be performed right before the fight, after the contract was signed, Pascal could not even ask for random testing anymore because it's not on the contract. Really, frankly, at this point, how can you possibly have a boxer dictate when he's going to get tested and when he's not going to get tested when in Olympic sports, every athlete gets tested randomly without questions asked. You cannot be Usain Bolt or any other athlete in the world and say, "You know what? I'm running the 200 meter today, but you know what? I don't want to be tested today. I want to be tested maybe three weeks after. Let's do the contract." I mean, since when does the boxer have the power to dictate how testing is going to be? Now whether USADA, whether VADA, whether any other organization wants to get involved, yeah, let them be involved, but let them do it right. Let the organizations and let the television networks dictate what's what; not what the boxer wants or what the manager wants. At the end of the day, sometimes, unfortunately, some of the managers only want what is best for their athletes, and we don't want that.

So frankly, this is not about me going against VADA or me going against USADA or favoring any of them. You asked me what's best and I give you my opinion as a federal witness who worked for USADA for years. Would I test with an organization who has been testing Olympians and NFL players and other different atletes and is recognized by Congress and is also entitled to federal laws if something happens? Yes. Would I go to VADA, who is a self-made company, has nothing to do with testing, and all they're doing is collecting the money and pretty much just hiring the test collectors and using WADA laboratories to test samples? No. You have to open your eyes to understand. They don't detect anything different between VADA and USADA. USADA detects the same thing because, at the end of the day, WADA labs, they're the ones that test all of the samples. The only difference is USADA, they follow WADA protocols. VADA doesn't and that's why they're not recognized by WADA. VADA has stated publicly that they detect and provide harder drug testing than USADA, but really, frankly, they don't. To me, it's just a disguised way to sell themselves. Obviously those who don't understand testing, they fall for it.

...low key, they had me fooled too :sadcam:

Team Manny is asking for 5 mill penalty and requesting the fight go on if their is a positive test....team Floyd, usada, and arum himself all said a resounding no, a positive is a four year ban, and no fight.....

Other than that Judah caught that work from floyd, got stopped and sent home in sparring.....besides that nothing much but wild foolishness from team Manny, like Manny being a better boxer than Floyd and such

Style makes fights thats why

Marquez is a p4p great and gave pac fights

yet Floyd beat him without breaking a sweat

All Pac's weakness play to Floyd's strengths and he has the physical advantage

after the fight just say I told you so
