Manny startegy will bew to pressure Floyd and win based off activity. I think he's in for a rude awakening. He should go in there and box. Floydhas that reach and he will easily get frustrated when he s getting countered from stepping in and then give up. I hope I m wrong because I don't wanna see a boring fight. I wanna see a good scrap

Though we know who is in the corner, which Mayweather would be more beneficial for Floyd in the corner this fight?

Since both Mayweather and Pacquiao are usually the smaller guy in the ring I was surprised at how much bigger Mayweather has looked vs. Manny in their head to head pictures. I thought they would look more similar than they do.
Looks like Mayweather may be 10-20 pounds naturally bigger than Manny.

I see Manny feinting and trynna get in and doing the 3 step in his training vids, Roach has the wrong strategy about Floyd. Robert Garcia has the key to trouble Floyd I believe, but Roach will just be the usual trainer and want more pressure

This man could be fighting in Dubai or something, or at a bigger stadium where he can get the gate but he's loyal to MGM and when all is said and done the prolly give a restaurant . . They should probavly build him a statue after all he's done for that city

I've never heard of the "lesser" fighter calling BIG shots like what weight the fight will be at:manny:

Oscar De La Hoya chose to fight him at 147 (which Pacquiao weighed in at what...142 lbs?) because Manny Pacquiao was at 135 in June and jumped up 2 divisions to fight him in his 1st match at Welterweight.:ehh:

What? Did nikkas expect Manny Pacquiao, who started off 2008 fighting JMM at 130lbs, to end the year fighting ODLH at 154? A 4 division jump in 1 calendar year and in only a 9 month span between JMM and DLH fights???:dahell:

Would we expect Vasyl Lomachenko to fight Jhonny Gonzalez at 126, then fight Orlando Salido in a rematch but at 130, followed up with a fight against Keith Thurman at 147 by the end of this year? That's a 4 division jump brehs :what:

At the end of the day, DLH did it to himself, not Pacquiao:yeshrug:
thats not even the point really
when floyd beat de la hoya clearly with every disadvantage in the book people tried to downplay it and say make excuses about age and blah blah

but when pacquaio beat de la hoya like a year later with pretty much everything in his favour, suddenly de la hoya wasn't old anymore and people were acting like jesus had returned:mjlol:
its just another example of how media/fans have agendas
if they like you, they are homers
if they dislike you, u can never do anything right

whether its de la hoyas fault or not, mayweather victory over de la hoya was more impressive than pacquaios
that'll hes trying to say and hes correct

also bringing up canelo is a moot point since floyd is obviously making a comparison about opponents they have both faced.

Dan Rafael Chat Wrap 3/13:

Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao:
- Jesse Hart will be on the card, but not the televised portion. Potential it could be streamed. Despite rumors his opponent will not be J'Leon Love.
- TR's televeised fight will be: Lomachenko vs. Gamalier Rodriguez.
- SRL vs. Mayweather/Pacquiao? SRL beats both of them.
- Has not heard anything other than the TMZ report of Mayweather choking his step son last Halloween.
- Wouldn't be surprised to see the fight sell over 3 million buys.
- Ref won't be announced until 3 weeks before the fight, but he is expecting Bayless. He is the best referee in LV and works for the Nevada commission.
- Floyd Sr. not speaking at the press conference was Floyd Jr.'s decision.
- Filmed a commercial yesterday to promote the fight.

Yes it is the point...Floyd said it himself breh:dahell:

What do you mean "everything in his favor"?:dwillhuh:

Pacquiao came UP 2 weight divisions in order to fight DLH, who came in at only 3 lbs less than his previous fight.....at a weight class HE chose for them (DLH vs Pac) to fight at.

Again, as of March 2008, Pacquiao was a Super Featherweight. As of December 2008, he was fighting 3 divisions north at 147 against a guy who just destroyed Stevie Forbes, looking GREAT in the process, and took Floyd Mayweather for his hardest fought fight since JLC 1 at the time:what:

What advantages did Pacquiao have in the fight? He didnt pick the ring size, gloves, or weight. He was the B-Side, even lower than Floyd was when he fought DLH.

its just another example of how media/fans have agendas

It's not an agenda if you dont care about neither fighter. The truth is DLH called all the shot for the Pacquiao fight, so what advantages did Pacquiao have in his favor. Since when does a B-Side call the shots over an A-Side the caliber of ODLH?

It's not correct:ufdup:

Floyd struggled with DLH to a close victory while Manny DESTROYED DLH....coming up 2 weight classes and in his very 1st fight at Welterweight.

DLH was old against BOTH of them, however, Manny killed him while Floyd got a close decision victory. In what world is a close decision more impressive than making the larger fighter quit in only 8 rounds?:dahell:

Come on breh...come on:snoop:

also bringing up canelo is a moot point since floyd is obviously making a comparison about opponents they have both faced.

It aint a moot point. Floyd KNEW, the words out of his own mouth, that Canelo would be drained because he would have to lose too much weight. How's he gonna talk about Pacquiao fighting a drained Cotto 2 lbs south of 147 when he fought a drained Canelo 2 lbs south of 154.:camby:

:childplease: Just stop it... Pacquiao jumped from lightweight to Welterweight and made Oscar quit on his stool.. yet you're more impressed by floyds split decision against Oscar? :camby:
