difference of opinion i guess then broYes it is the point...Floyd said it himself breh
What do you mean "everything in his favor"?
Pacquiao came UP 2 weight divisions in order to fight DLH, who came in at only 3 lbs less than his previous fight.....at a weight class HE chose for them (DLH vs Pac) to fight at.
Again, as of March 2008, Pacquiao was a Super Featherweight. As of December 2008, he was fighting 3 divisions north at 147 against a guy who just destroyed Stevie Forbes, looking GREAT in the process, and took Floyd Mayweather for his hardest fought fight since JLC 1 at the time
What advantages did Pacquiao have in the fight? He didnt pick the ring size, gloves, or weight. He was the B-Side, even lower than Floyd was when he fought DLH.
It's not an agenda if you dont care about neither fighter. The truth is DLH called all the shot for the Pacquiao fight, so what advantages did Pacquiao have in his favor. Since when does a B-Side call the shots over an A-Side the caliber of ODLH?
It's not correct
Floyd struggled with DLH to a close victory while Manny DESTROYED DLH....coming up 2 weight classes and in his very 1st fight at Welterweight.
DLH was old against BOTH of them, however, Manny killed him while Floyd got a close decision victory. In what world is a close decision more impressive than making the larger fighter quit in only 8 rounds?
Come on breh...come on
It aint a moot point. Floyd KNEW, the words out of his own mouth, that Canelo would be drained because he would have to lose too much weight. How's he gonna talk about Pacquiao fighting a drained Cotto 2 lbs south of 147 when he fought a drained Canelo 2 lbs south of 154.
Pot meet Kettle.
oscar got to fight floyd at 154 which is natural weight
picked floyds gloves, made the ring smaller, make floyd come up
these things matter in a boxing fight
u expect floyd to look his best when he got heavyweight gloves on is a smaller than normal ring and at a weight he never fought before
and even with dat he still whooped his ass
a old man like oscar coming down to 147 for the first time in like 10 years puts him at a distinct disadvantage no matter how you dress it up
even if oscar wanted to be super man and take a risk, he was still at more disadvantages in that fight then he was in the fight vs floyd
i dont understand how this is even a debate
moving up in weight is easier than moving down
oscar came to into the fight looking like this
they was also a rehydration clause in the fight for gods sake
he couldnt even rhydrate past a certain way
he was a deadman
even though oscar was the A-side, he made a lot of concessions for pacquaio
i'm sure theres more to that story
and like i said already, canelo got nothing to do with this situation
floyd is explaiing why his victories over COTTO And DELA HOYA are more impressive then pacquaios victories over them
pacquaio catchweighted both of em
floyd went up to their weight class for both of em
floyd fought better versions of them
